May 10th...

I am 41 years old today. That seems so crazy to say...I feel at least 30....sheesh!! I can say honestly I am okay with this. I do wish I seriously picked up a camera in High School and had all the vision that I have now. My mind thinks, breathes and sees photography for everything that it is. I can also say my little girl has been my muse and that sounds so fancy.

These photos are ones that have been taken while studying and working through Deb Schwedhelm's class. Breaking through the mold. Her water work is breathtaking. She has taught me to focus on my work and really dig into my style.

They are stronger than us.....

After the longest week... painfully long there is a little breathing room again. I stress a little. Our world feels so unsafe that it feels like it is consuming me lately. Trying to breathe. Breathe in our babies, our children, our friends and family. I would snap at my husband for having the news on t.v while everyone was awake. It creates so much tension. Tension is such a huge part of life anymore and I just want it to all wash away. 

They are stronger than us. We will learn to live, breathe and stay strong once again.

Girls Ten On Ten The April Edition 2013

These past few months I have been struggling with feeling healthy and having energy. Some people seem to be fine post cancer treatments but these later, long term effects feel like they are kicking my ass lately. I have a CT scan on Thursday which is so overdue because I have gotten slow. Taking these photos makes me feel like I am in another place, almost like a vacation? I don't know. It makes me feel alive. It makes me want to dig deeper into life. I am obsessed.

10 on 10 The February Edition....

On this day it was cold! I had fun just watching Ella play and be silly and cute. Whenever she wears that red coat I smile like crazy. Red coat or hair in ponytails...I am lost.
